Man allegedly stole cash, jewellery and a hoover from home in County Kildare

A Tallaght resident allegedly stole cash, jewellery and a hoover from home in located in North Kildare, Naas District Court was told on Thursday, March 2.

Before the court was James Kavanagh, with an address listed as 11 Kiltalown Heights, Tallaght, Dublin 24, County Dublin.

The 30-year-old was accused of stealing around €1,700 of cash, €1,000 worth of jewellery and a Dyson vacuum cleaner from a property located in Maynooth on October 26, 2021.

Gardaí claimed that Mr Kavanagh was later identified by CCTV.

The case against Mr Kavanagh will return to court on March 23 for service of a book of evidence.

Judge Desmond Zaidan remanded the accused on continuing bail until this date.
