A schoolboy had to be hospitalised after being struck by car in Newbridge this morning.
A spokesperson for An Garda Síochana told the Leinster Leader: "Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a road traffic collision in which a bicycle collided with a car on Eyre Street, Newbridge, at approximately 8:45am this morning, Wednesday, March 1, 2023.
"The cyclist, a juvenile male, was transferred to Tallaght Hospital, Dublin for treatment of non-serious injuries."
"Investigations are ongoing," the spokesperson added.
