KILDARE ANIMALS IN NEED: Chewy and Chop ready for new homes

Thanks to the staff at O' Brien Fine Foods, the producers of The Brady Family Ham range, for organising a promotion among their staff to support the Kildare and West Wicklow Society for the Prevention of Cruelty’s to Animals’ Charity Shop, Noahs Ark, in Newbridge.

They asked everyone to bring in a few items of unwanted good quality clothes in a plastic bag for collection in their staff canteen.

We were delighted to receive a huge number of bags last week from Tracey Maher in HR who helped to organise the event. The sale of these items will help to raise money for the animals in our care.

Noah’s Ark Auction

The February Noah’s Ark Online Auction started on Monday, 20 February and will continue until 3pm Saturday, 27 February. There will be almost 100 items for sale, all donated by our very generous supporters. You need to go to the KWWSPCA Noah’s Ark Facebook page to see what is on offer, the reserve prices and how to bid for them. The money raised from this online auction will go directly to helping the animals in the care of the KWWSPCA.

Cats of the Week

These two young kittens have just joined us and we . They are tame but have lived outdoors since they were born, but we think they will make great pets in a home situation. Both cats will leave the shelter neutered/spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and treated for worms and fleas. If you would like to express your interest in these beautiful kittens, you can contact Elaine on 089 4588162 or email [email protected]. There is an €100 adoption fee per cat required to offset some of the veterinary costs. DAFM Registration Number is IPT200001C.
