Planning permission has been sought to turn a former County Kildare pub into four apartments.
Documents lodged with Kildare County Council show that Woodpath Limited intends to apply for permission in relation to the change of use of existing first floor bar/lounge/office/toilets to four self-contained apartments (for residential use) at the premises formerly known as The Bridgewater Inn at Canal View, Sallins.
The proposed apartments would consist of three one-bedroom apartments and one two-bedroom apartment.
Permission is also being sought for: amendments to first floor window facade, installation of new rooflight to front roof plane, additional side windows on existing side elevation (east), permission for construction of a single storey bin and bike store, open space for apartment occupants in existing car park/yard, and all associated site works.
The date received is listed as February 3 last, while the submission-by and due dates are listed as March 9 and March 30 respectively.
According to the business information website SoloCheck.ie, Woodpath Ltd was established in 2021.
The company's principal activity is listed as 'Development of Building Projects', and it has a registered address at The Silken Thomas, The Square, Kildare town.
