KILDARE ANIMALS IN NEED: Ali and Woodie found running wild

KWWSPCA COLUMN

We are delighted that Simone, the pretty, semi wild cat, who was featured in our article last week, has been adopted and has already gone to a lovely new home.

She will be an outside cat with the option of being an inside cat if she wishes.

Ali and Woodie

Ali and Woodie came into our care two weeks ago from the Allenwood area. They were living wild and their safety was at risk. They are about five months old and are starting to trust and enjoy human company. Ali is female and Woodie is male.

They will very soon make lovely family pets. They have been neutered, vaccinated and treated for worms and fleas. If you can offer then a home, preferably together, please text/call Elaine on 089 4588162 or Clare on 087 7045913.

Jack Russells in need of homes

At the moment, the KWWSPCA has three Jack Russell terriers all looking for new homes; they have all come into the care of the Kildare and West Wicklow Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals from a dog pound, having been found as strays.

Two of these dogs are male, Shane (pictured here) and Oscar, and Lucy is female.

They have all been neutered, microchipped and will be fully vaccinated and treated for worms and fleas before going to their new homes.

Please call/text 087 6887136 for more information about these three lovely dogs or go to the KWWSPCA website www.kwwspca.ie.

Noah’s Ark

Noah’s Ark, the KWWSPCA Charity Shop in Cutlery Road, Newbridge, is open for donations from 10am to 5pm, Mondays to Saturdays.
