A Kildare teenager is looking forward to taking part in the final of America's Got Talent: All Stars show.
Aidan McCann, aged 13, who lives in Maynooth, impressed the judges including model Heidi Klum which earned him a golden buzzer.
Aidan was competing against singers, dance groups and other variety acts but his own slot received a standing ovation from the crowd.
Before banging on the golden buzzer, Model Kum said: “I love the magic but really, it is you who is the magic. I think you’re such a star!"
McCann was showered with golden confetti and sent straight to the show’s finale, where the winning prize is $500,000
Aidan first became interested in magic at five years old after getting a magic kit as a gift.
He later appeared on Ireland’s Got Talent and The Ellen DeGeneres Show in Los Angeles in 2019.
He was also a finalist on Britain’s Got Talent in 2020.
The final is set to air in mid February.
