Kildare has been included in a Status Yellow - Snow/Ice Warning issued last night.
The Warning is for counties: Carlow, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Longford, Louth, Meath, Offaly, Westmeath, Cavan, Monaghan, Clare, Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary, Galway, Mayo, Roscommon.
Met Éireann said scattered sleet and snow showers with some accumulations are possible. Icy stretches are also likely.
The Weather Warning was issued late on Tuesday night and is valid until 9am on Wednesday.
