Planning permission sought for new residential development in Kildare

The development, if approved, would have a site area of 0.34 hectares, and would consist of a total of 10 housing units.

Planning permission is being sought for the construction of a new residential development in Kildare.

According to the documents, which have been lodged with Kildare County Council (KCC), one Brian Kehoe is proposing to construct the development at Curryhills in Prosperous.

The development, if approved, would have a site area of 0.34 hectares, and would consist of a total of 10 residential units.

Specifically, it would be comprised of: three three-bed, two-storey terraced houses; three four-bed, 2.5-storey terraced houses; one two-bed single storey elderly house unit, and three apartments, which would consist of two two-bed units and one one-bed unit which would be accommodated in a two-storey/single storey building, along with with associated bin and bicycle stores.

Permission is also being sought for the demolition of an existing two-storey house in the same area.

The documents further note that the proposed development would also provide for one vehicular access, outfall drains, landscaping and open spaces, car parking and public lighting, as well as all associated site development works.

The date received is listed as January 3 last, while the submission-by and due dates are listed as February 6 and February 27 respectively.
