Irish Heart Foundation's Mobile Health Unit is offering free heart health checks in communities in Ireland later this month.

Irish Heart Foundation's Mobile Health Unit is visiting Kildare later this month, offering free heart health checks.

On Friday, 19 June the Unit will be parked at Naas Library from 11am to 3.35pm.

In a bid to promote heart health and early detection of heart disease, members of the public have the opportunity to have their blood pressure and heart health checked.

The Mobile Health Unit offers up to 10,000 free blood pressure checks annually, helping to identify individuals who may be unaware of their high blood pressure.

Expert nurses are available at the Health Units to provide lifestyle advice and information on maintaining heart health, which can help detect atrial fibrillation, an irregular heartbeat that can lead to serious health issues.
