The Seanie Johnstown saga may be finally nearing its conclusion. It has been reported this Friday evening that the GAC have informed the CCCC there is no reason not to grant the Cavan man his move to St. Kevin’s GAA, writes TOMMY CALLAGHAN.
Last week the CAC found in favour of Johnston, stating that as no objection had been lodged there was no reason why his transfer should not go through. However it is understood that the CCCC looked for further clarification from the CAC who, it is now believed have told the CCCC to go ahead and grant the request.
There is still a possibility, that the CCCC may refer the entire matter to the DRA but it is believe that is unlikely and Johnston should become a Kevin’s player early next week.
