Round 2 of the Minor Football Championship took place last evening (Monday 13 August) and resulted in the following results:

MINOR ‘A’FC:

Celbridge 1-9 Athy 0-12

Two Mile House 1-13 Leixlip 2-9

Round Towers 2-10 Moorefield 0-6.

MINOR ‘B’ FC:

Suncroft 4-15 Kilcullen 0-9

Raheens 4-9 Oliver Plunketts 2-9

Balyna 2-18 St. Kevin’s 0-3

St. Laurence’s 2-13 Robertstown 1-9

Monasterevin 2-11 Na Fianna 2-8.

MINOR ‘C’ FC:

Ellistown 1-17 Ardclough 1-9.
