Pat Sullivan's side sit on four points from five games with Armagh (-15) and Dublin (-21) below them on scoring difference (Kildare with -11). None of the current bottom three teams face one another in the final two rounds meaning the door is open for any combination of relegation candidates with even Kerry and Meath on six points not safe just yet.

A result will be tough in an away trip to The Déise but taking some points home from their trip this weekend would be a huge boost to Kildare headed into the final round of fixtures, where they face Kerry on home soil.

Armagh travel to face Meath for their final 2026 Division 1 game while The Dubs welcome current table-toppers Cork, whose only dropped points came in their opening day clash with The Lilies.
