Only way is up
The current bad weather and Ireland’s defeat in the Euro Championship has been a ‘bit of a downer’ when added to the already depressed conditions.
However as Oscar Wilde said, ‘all of us are in the gutter but some of us are looking at the sky’ and the Kildare Local Employment Service Network (KLESN) are providing us with a pair of binoculars.
If you are unemployed and in receipt of Social Welfare payment, they will provide a free Career Guidance and Support Service to help you get back to education, a training course, help in the preparation of your CV, letters of application and interview skills. They also operate an Information Service with details of employment opportunities in the locality and other employment related issues.
You can also access the FAS Jobs Data Base on their touch screen computers. For further information you can contact Bridie on 045 521950 or call into their office at 3 Bride Street Kildare.
