Ghost Estates set for Newbridge
Dublin 5 piece band, Ghost Estates made quite an impression on the Irish music scene in the past 12 months.
A number stellar singles and storming live shows, including Electric Picnic and Hard Working Class Heroes, earmarked them as definite ‘one’s to watch’.
They are currently readying their debut album for release in June and the band brings their delectably tight indie sound to Newbridge for the first time.
The headline show takes place in Flanagan’s, Newbridge on Easter Sunday, April 8, as part of the regular ‘Barrygruff Presents’ series, showcasing some of Ireland brightest emerging musical talents.
Accompanying them on the bill is Thomastown band Neon Wolf, whose own unbridled feel-good indie-pop has caused more than their fair share of a stir.
Entry is FREE and the show starts at 8.30pm, Easter Sunday, April 8. For more info see: http://barrygruff.wordpress.com/
This week we commend those business proprietors who each morning are seen cleaning up the discarded cigarette ends and other debris from outside their premises.
They lead by example and show a professional attitude to promoting their business premises and a pride in their appearance.
