Moonwalkers School of Dance is holding a Dance Summer Camp in Caragh Community Centre from July 30 - August 3. Moonwalkers caters all types of dance ranging from Rock and Roll to Hip Hop.
The Dance Camp is suitable for boys and girls from the age of 4. €40 for the week and discounts are available for families with more than child taking part in the summer camp.

The Kellogg’s GAA Cúl Camp in Caragh GFC, Prosperous runs from Tuesday August 6 to Friday August 10. This is the week after the bank holiday and so is a 4 day camp.
The Cúl Camp provides boys and girls, between the ages of 6 and 13, with an action-packed and fun-filled week of activity during the summer holidays which revolves around maximising enjoyment and sustaining participant involvement in Gaelic Games.
Prices: €50 first child (Note Cúl Camp website says €55 but price should be €50 for a 4 day camp - there will be a €5 refund on the day for those booked online). €45 2nd child. €40 3rd and 4th child. Each child receives a Kellogg’s GAA Cúl Camp Kit and Kit Bag. Parents are encouraged to book online because a further €5 discount token from promotional packs of Corn Flakes and Rice Krispies can only be claimed online.
Parks Tennis will take place again this year from July 2 to July 27 at Prosperous Tennis Club. The cost for the four weeks is €30 and this includes coaching for one hour per day Monday to Friday for four weeks. Children age six years and older can apply.
Junior Drama Workshops
Prosperous Dramatic Society Presents Junior Drama Summer Workshops: July 9 – 13, 7–10years; July 16– 20, 11–13 years; July 23 – 27, 14–18 years. All workshops begin at 9.30am and finish at 1pm. KARE Race Night
An evening at the Races in Aid of KARE, takes place at the Curragh Race Course on Saturday July 21. Tickets are €15 and €10 from every ticket sold in advance goes directly to KARE to help them to continue to do the wonderful work they carry out all across Kildare, East Offaly and West Wicklow.
It’s a great opportunity for a relaxed and enjoyable day out while helping support a wonderful local charity. Tickets can be bought on www.kare.ie or by calling 045 448700.

The second trip of the Summer for St. Mochua Historical Society is on Saturday July 7. We will travel to Dublin to visit Kilmainham Gaol and Farmleigh House. Cost for bus and entrance to Kilmainham will be fifteen euro. Please phone Carmel on 087 6779785 if you would like to join us.
County Dog Wardens will be conducting door to door Dog Licence checks in the Clane area for June and July. Wardens use a computer data base to locate unlicensed dogs. On the spot fines can be issued to owners or people in charge of unlicensed dogs.
They will also be doing checks regarding dog control issues. Owners of Restricted Breeds need to be aware of the extra laws regarding their dogs which is dictated by Control of Dogs act and are also subject to fines for breaches of the legislation. License are available from any Post Office and cost €20.
