There was a mass exodus from the Kilcullen scout den on Friday as 80 beavers, cubs, scouts, ventures and leaders headed off for a weekend of camping in the Slieve Bloom’s.

The weekend group camp is a first in recent times for the 9th Kildare scout group and everyone has been looking forward to the event.

A lot of time and effort goes into planning such an event and so we asked the Ventures to take pictures and record the activities, we look forward to seeing what they got up to! Let’s hope the weather doesn’t put a dampener on any of it!
