Sallins Celtic Soccer

The current season for all underage Sallins Celtic soccer players will finish shortly but we will run an academy, on Saturday mornings, up to late June for all younger age groups, from five to nine years of age. Midlands Support Group - For Family and Friends Affected by Suicide.

Our confidential support group, recently established in conjunction with HOPE(D) welcomes people from all areas in Kildare. We meet the first Wednesday of each month at the Aras Building (beside Fas) Main Street, Newbridge at 8pm. Our aim is to connect with people where members can share experiences, advice or just listen providing sympathetic understanding towards one another. For people who have lost a loved one to suicide and would like to connect with others who have gone through the same experience please feel free to come along. Sallins Fianna Fáil cumann

A meeting of Naas Chomhairle Ceantair (Naas Area Forum) was held in Sallins last Thursday night.

The meeting was well attended by members from Naas, Caragh, Kill and Sallins. A lively discussion took place on national issues including water charges, the household charge, septic tank charges and the fiscal compact treaty.

Local issues including the M7 upgrade, taking in charge of estates and the local economy were also discussed. New members always welcome - contact James on 086 834 8869.
