Deaths in Kildare - Tuesday, April 30, 2019

Mary Byrne (née Murphy) – Sallynoggin, Dublin / Moone

April 26 2019 (peacefully) In hospital in her 99th year. Beloved wife of late Thomas Byrne and much loved mother of Angela, Gabriel and the late Ellen and Kay. Sadly missed by her 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, family and friends. Will be laid to rest with her husband in Australia.

 

Thomas (Tom) Finneran – Turnings, Straffan

April 29 2019, peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Sadly missed by his loving wife Melissa, children Rebecca, Thomas and Aarron, mother Phyllis, mother and father in law Kathleen and Larry McKenna, brothers Jason, Darren and Gary, sisters Samantha and Melissa, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, relatives, work colleagues Daire, Derek and Patrick of Finneran Entry Systems Ltd. and many friends, especially Margo and Tony. Reposing at Oliver Reilly Funeral Home, Woods House, Clane on Tuesday (30th April) from 4pm to 8pm with prayers at 7pm. Removal on Wednesday (1st May) from his residence to arrive at St. Anne's Church, Ardclough for 11am Funeral Mass followed by burial in Donacomper Cemetery. House strictly private, please. Denis (Sonny) Patterson – Borraderra, Monasterevin

April 28 2019, Predeceased by his wife Marie. Deeply regretted by his loving family, daughters Mary, Lilly, Veronica and Mags, son John, sons in law, daughter in law,brothers in law, sisters in law grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.

 

Mary Smyth (née Flynn) – Celbridge, Kildare / Dungarvan, Waterford

April 29 2019, (peacefully), at Hazel Hall Nursing Home, Clane. Mary, beloved wife of the late Bernard (Ben) and dear mother of Peter, Brian and the late Vivian and Jacqueline. Sadly missed by her loving sons, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Removal from Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Ardclough Road, Celbridge to St. Patrick’s Church, Celbridge on Thursday morning (2nd. May) arriving for Requiem Mass at 10.00am followed by burial in Palmerstown cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to NCBI.
