Deaths in Kildare - Tuesday, April 2, 2019

Sr. Assumpta Power – Sisters of Mercy, Catherine McAuley Nursing Home, Limerick / Rathangan, Kildare

April 1 2019 Sr. Assumpta, Sisters of Mercy, Catherine McAuley Nursing Home, Limerick and formerly, Convent of Mercy, Rathangan, Co. Kildare. Mourned by her Community, her sisters Sr. Rosanne and Nano Murphy, her brothers John, Frank, Michael, her nieces and nephews and their families. Reposing in Convent of Mercy, Monasterevin from 4 o'clock until 6 o'clock Wednesday (3rd April). Removal to Church of Assumption, Rathangan arriving for 7 o'clock. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 10 o'clock followed by burial in the Convent Cemetery.


Paddy Bagnall – Coolree, Robertstown

March 31 2019, peacefully at Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown. Beloved husband of the late Maura. Deeply regretted by his loving daughters Fionnula & Catherine, sons Anthony, Kevin & Raymond, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives & friends. Reposing at his son Kevin's residence in Sallins, Co. Kildare on Monday from 7pm to 9pm and on Tuesday from 2pm, with rosary at 8pm. Removal on Wednesday at 10.15am to arrive at the Church of Our Lady & St. Jospeph, Prosperous for 11am Funeral Mass, followed by burial in Killybegs Cemetery, Prosperous.


Maura Kelly (née McDermot) – Abbotswood, Kildangan

March 30 2019, Beloved mother of Louise and Marissa. Deeply regretted by her sons-in-law, grandchildren Theo, Stephen and Evan, great-grandchildren Coydon and Theo, brother John, sisters Cecilia and Franky, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews relatives and friends. Reposing at her home from 6.00pm today, Monday. Removal on Tuesday for 11 am Mass in the Church of Out Lady of Victories, Kildangan and afterwards to Newlands Cross Crematorium. No flowers please. Kathleen Martin (née Irwin) – late of Carnlough Road, Cabra West, Dublin / Kildare / Kells, Meath

March 30 2019, Predeceased by her husband Paddy, sons Raymond, Edward and Kevin and daughter Carol, very sadly missed by her sons, Tom, Pat and John, daughters Vera, Breda and Catherine, brother Joe, sisters Ita, Avril, Mona and Mary, sons-in-law and daughters-in-law, grandchildren Tanya, Patricia, Jonathan, Philip, Adam, Patrick, Lee and Sarah, great-grandchildren Rhys, Katie, Amelia, Kaiden, Jessica, Daniel, Megan, Mia, Cameron, Bonnie and Logan, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Funeral Home, 88A, Cabra Road tomorrow Tuesday from 2pm to 5.30pm, Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 10am in The Most Precious Blood Church, Cabra West followed by burial in the Good Shepherd Cemetery, Duleek, Co. March 31 2019 (peacefully) in the wonderful care of the doctors, nurses and staff at the Beacon Hospital, Dublin. Sadly missed by his loving wife Joan, his children, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, extended family, relatives and friends. Funeral to arrive at St Conleth's Parish Church, Newbridge at 6.30 o'clock on Tuesday evening. Funeral Mass on Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock with burial afterwards in St. Conleth's Cemetery, Newbridge. Family flowers only please. House strictly private please.
