William Billy Clifford – St. Brigid's Avenue, Kilcullen

April 21 2018 (peacefully) in the wonderful care of the nurses and staff of the Curragh Lawn Nursing Home. Billy, husband of the late Brigid (Queenie) and father of the late Liam; sadly missed by his loving sons and daughters Patricia, Bridie, Mary, Esther, Theresa, Gay, Martina and John, Ger and Joe, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother and sisters, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends. Reposing at Anderson & Leahy's Funeral Home, Newbridge from 2 o'clock on Monday (April 23) with prayers that evening at 8pm. Removal on Tuesday morning (April 24) at 10.15am to arrive at the Church of the Sacred Heart & St Brigid, Kilcullen for Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Brigid's Cemetery, Kilcullen. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to the Oblates Lourdes Fund and the Friends of St. Brigid's Hospice, Moore Abbey. Donations box in church.


Elizabeth (Betty) Roe (née Timmons) – Springfield Villa, Ardreigh, Athy / Carlow Town, Carlow

April 21 2018, died in the loving care of St. Vincent's Hospital, Athy, formerly of Bestfield, Carlow. Sadly missed by her husband Bob, son Stephen, daughter Rosaline, brothers, sisters, daughter-in-law Shirley, grandchildren Daniel, Katie and Jessica, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends. Reposing at her home on Tuesday (April 24) from 2pm. Removal on Wednesday morning (April 25) to the Cathedral of the Assumption, Carlow to arrive for funeral Mass at 10am. Burial afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Carlow. Family flowers only, please, donations in lieu to St. Vincent’s Hospital Athy or Bethany House, Carlow.
