Brendan Delahunt

The death has occurred of Brendan Delahunt, Castlewarden, Kill, Kildare / Straffan, Kildare

Predeceased by his much loved wife Marie who died on 31st. March, 2025, Brendan's two sisters Rita and Bexie.

The death has occurred on April 24th 2025 of Brendan Delahunt, RIP, Castlewarden, and Straffan, Co Kildare.

Beloved husband and father surrounded by his loving family in the gentle care of the doctors and nurses of Willowbrook Nursing Home, Newbridge.

Sadly missed by his loving daughter Siobhan, son Padraig, son-in-law Christy, his adored grandchildren Jamie, Barry, Jack and Aoife, his brothers, Joe and Michael, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephew, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Remembered fondly by his friends work colleagues of Roadstone and Castlewarden Golf Club. Kill Medical Centre, and Kill Pharmacy.

Rest In Peace Brendan.

Brendan will be reposing at Sallins Funeral Home, Chamney Court, W91DXC8 on Sunday April 27 from 4pm with prayers at 7pm. Removal on Monday April 28 to St. Brigid's Church, Kill, for Requiem Mass at 10am, followed by burial in Straffan Cemetery. Donations if desired to Sapling Special School, Kill, Co Kildare.

Jennifer Keegan (née Bell)

The death has occurred of Jennifer Keegan (née Bell), Nurney, Kildare, R51A993.

Jennifer Keegan, (née Bell) Rathconnell, Nurney, Co. Kildare, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Naas General Hospital on Thursday 24th of April.

Predeceased by her parents Mattie and Eileen Bell and her sister Shirley Keogh.

She will be sadly missed by her husband Aidan, her sons Shane and Craig, daughter-in-law Katelynn, brothers James, Matt, Joe and Ian, sister Ciara, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces.

Jennifer will repose at her home Rathconnell, Nurney (R51 A993) on Friday April 25 from 4pm until 8pm.

Arriving at St. Ita’s Church, Kilmead for 11am Funeral Mass on Saturday April 26, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Marie (Mary) Kelly (née Parsons)

The death has occurred of Marie (Mary) Kelly (née Parsons), Pacelli Road, Naas, Kildare.

Peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late John and loving mam of Mary, John, Martin and Majella.

Sadly missed by her children, grandchildren Ciara, Tara, Melissa, Michael, Sean, Cian, Meghan and Leanne, great-grandchildren Ava, Lana, Rhia, Ollie, Ella, Morrígan, Maisie and Florrie, daughters-in-law Michelle and Emma, son-in-law PJ, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Tom Lucitt, St. Patrick's Park, Rathangan, Co. Kildare. Formerly Taghmon, Co. Wexford. Peacefully, April 24 2025, in the wonderful care of the staff at St. Brigids Hospice, The Curragh, surrounded by his loving family.

Sadly missed by his loving wife Dolores, daughters Elaine, Karen, Leanne and Sandra, sons in law Murt, Jason and PJ, grandchildren Cian, TJ, Brody, Mason, Conor, Céilí, and Cormac, mother in law Mary, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his daughter Karen's home, 542 St. Patrick's Park, Rathangan on Friday (April 25) from 4pm concluding with rosary at 8pm. Removal by Glennons Funeral Directors on Saturday morning to arrive at the Church of the Assumption and St. Patrick, Rathangan for requiem mass at 11am. McGann Ellen (Nellie) (Nee Flood). Clownings, Newbridge April 20 2025, suddenly at her home, deeply and sadly missed by her loving family, husband Joe, son John, daughter Ellen, daughter-in-law Rose, son-in-law Stephen, grandchildren Mary-Ellen, Joe, Tammy, Megan, Leah and Kyle, great grandchildren Lily, Darragh, Aaron, Joey.

The death has occurred of Simon (Simie) McNamee, Toker Road, Robertstown, Kildare, W91 NV0N.

Peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff of Naas Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Son of the late William and Sheila, brother of the late baby Sheila, Peter and the recently deceased Mary.

Fergus Walsh

The death has occurred of Fergus Walsh, Straffan, Kildare.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Fergus Walsh in Spain on Monday, April 21 2025.
Fergus will be forever missed by his beloved wife Siobhán, his daughters Deirdre and Niamh, sons-in-law Ciarán and Paddy, and his most cherished grandchildren Finn, Sophia, and Teidí.
He will be lovingly remembered by his sisters, Angelina, Helen, Caroline, Pacelli, Clare, Frances, Hetty and their partners as well as his extended family, his many dear friends and everyone who knew him.
