Desmond P.J. Aylmer

The death has occurred of Desmond P.J. Aylmer, St. Vincent's Hospital, Athy, Kildare / Mount Merrion, Dublin.

Predeceased by his loving wife Molly and son Conor. Deeply regretted by his loving children Anne, Jim and Michael, grandchildren Niamh, Brian, Rachel, David, Danielle and Dylan, great-grandchildren, daughters-in-law, brother-in-law Joe, sister-in-law Ellie, his great friend Paddy Doyle, relatives and a wide circle of friends.

Rest in Peace

Reposing at Rigney's Funeral Home, Athy (R14 TX26) on Tuesday evening (March 18) from 6pm until 8pm. Removal on Wednesday morning (March 19) to arrive at St. Michael's Parish Church, Athy for Requiem Mass at 11am, see livestream link http://www.parishofathy.ie

Burial afterwards in Glasnevin Cemetery at approx. 2pm.

William (Willie) Cummins

The death has occurred of William (Willie) Cummins, Mount Armstrong, Donadea, Kildare / Carrick-on-Shannon, Leitrim.

Cummins, William (Willie), Mount Armstrong, Donadea, Co. Kildare and late of New York and San Francisco, USA and Carrick On Shannon, Co. Leitrim.

Died March 17 2025, peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff of Maynooth Community Care Unit.

Willie was pre-deceased by his baby grandson Darragh, his brothers John and James and his sister Bridget.

Willie will be sadly missed by his beloved family, wife Maureen, sons John and Liam, daughter Annemarie, son-in-law Marty, his adored grandchildren Gavin, Shane, Eva and Lily, sister Kathleen (Jones), brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, neighbours and dear friends.

May His Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.

Willie's Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday at 11am in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Rathcoffey, (W91WY03), followed by burial in Mainham Cemetery, Clane.

House Private Please. Willie’s family wish to extend their gratitude to all the staff of Maynooth Community Care Unit for the wonderful care he received throughout his time with them.

The death has occurred of Sr. Christina Richardson, Naas Road, Newbridge, Kildare / Toomevara, Tipperary.

Richardson, Sr. Christina (Holy Family Convent, Newbridge, Co. Kildare and formerly of
Toomevara, Co. Tipperary) March 17 2025. Deeply regretted by her cousins, sister-in-law,
nieces and nephews, extended family, the Community and Staff at Holy Family Convent, all
Holy Family Members and her many friends in Ireland and France.

May she rest in peace.

Strickland, Catherine (née MaGee), (Maynooth, Co. Kildare and formerly of Lucan, Co. Dublin) March 15 2025 peacefully, surrounded by her loving family.

Beloved wife of Vincent and much-loved mother of Conor, Daniel and Kate.

Adored daughter of Pat and Bernie and loved sister of Tom, Michael, Patrick and Mark.

Sadly missed by her loving husband, sons, daughter, mother, father, brothers, mother-in-law Mary, extended family, and many friends.

May she rest in peace.

Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his mother Maura. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Teresa, sons James and Jack, father Syl, sister Naomi, mother-in-law Lil, father-in-law Pat, brothers-in-law Mark, Chris and Pee, sister-in-law Ashley, aunts, uncles, nieces Amy, Katie, Ava and Ellie, relatives and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at his residence (R14 XN35) on Monday afternoon (March 17) from 1pm until 7pm with Rosary at 6pm. House private at all other times please.

Removal at 10.15am on Tuesday morning (March 18) to arrive at St. Michael's Parish Church, Athy for Requiem Mass at 11am, see livestream link http://www.parishofathy.ie

Burial afterwards in St. Michael's New Cemetery, Athy.

Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to The Oak Ward, Waterford Hospice.

Breda Roche

The death has occurred of Breda Roche, Woodlands, Rathangan, Kildare / Enniscorthy, Wexford

Formerly of Cooladine, Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford.

Predeceased by her parents and siblings.

Deeply regretted by her loving family; nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, friends, and staff of the Muiriosa Foundation.

May Breda's Gentle Soul Rest in Eternal Peace.

Reposing at Moore Abbey Chapel, Monasterevin, Co. Kildare on Tuesday 18th March from 12pm- 4pm, with Rosary Recital at 4pm. Followed by removal to arrive at St. Senan's Church, Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford at 7.30pm.

Requiem Mass will be held on Wednesday 19th March at 12pm, in St. Senan's Church, followed by internment in St. Mary's Cemetery, Enniscorthy.
