Sweeney Todd was a big hit
Clane Musical Society’s 29th musical production Sweeney Todd finished on Saturday 3rd November in the Abbey after completing a successful 6 night run.
The Abbey stage was converted to the 1850s and the mood lighting in the hall completed the picture. Rory Dunne as Sweeney was definitely the demon barber ensuring that he provided meat to his co-conspirator the pie maker Mrs Lovett played by Helena Reynolds.
The many hours of rehearsals under the direction of the production team of Art McGauran (Director), Dave McGauran (Musical Director) and Deirdre Browne (choreographer) were evident during the run in the Abbey.
Well done to all those involved both on and off stage. Clane Musical Society would like to thank all those who attended the show and assisted anyway with the production – your continued support is much appreciated. Congratulations to Jenny Reynolds, Naas who was the winner of the Week-end break.
Clane Chiropractic supporting World Prematurity Day
World Prematurity Day highlights the fact that one baby in ten is born prematurely worldwide. Irish Premature Babies is a charity set up in 2009 to provide support for families here in Ireland whose babies have been born prematurely and is a 100% voluntary organisation. To mark World Prematurity Day Clane Chiropractic will be donating all fees received on the day to Irish Premature Babies.
This would be a great opportunity to come in and see if Chiropractic could help you and at the same time support this very worthy cause. Appointments can be made by calling the clinic on 045 838691.
