Kristmas Kooking KARE Style
A Christmas Cooking Demonstration in aid of KARE will take place in Ryston Sports and Social Club, Newbridge on Wednesday 14th November 2012 at 7.30pm. Special Guest Brenda Donoghue. A night out with a difference. Admission €10. Further details from Mary Shortt 0868234856.
Food Art and Craft Fair
The annual St Laurence’s food, art and craft fair will take place on Saturday November 17th 7pm to 10pm and Sunday 18th from 12 noon until 6pm. There will be over 50 stalls ranging from wood turning, stained glass, crochet, jewellery, bags, candles, soaps, dress making, pottery, cakes, toys, ice cream, pyrography, homemade preserves and much more. Enquiries to Sheila on 0851385133 after 6pm. Christmas starts here. Admission is free, free parking in the complex, and mulled wine on arrival.
Girls Night Out
A girls night out will take place on Friday 23rd November 2012 in Dunlavin GAA Clubhouse at 8pm. It is in aid of Solas in Scoli Nioclais Naofa. Come along to a fun girls only night out and support a good cause. Tickets €20 which includes a welcome drink, nibbles, tea/coffee and entertainment. Bring your own bottle.
Dunlavin and District Forum will hold their annual Christmas craft fair December 9th in the Imaal Hall. The cost of a stall is €25 and will be allocated on a first come basis. Contact Bernie on 0872872619.
The Dara Ensemble and The Iveagh Singers will present an evening of music and song on Saturday November 24th at 7.30pm in the Grangebeg Camphill Community Hall .Tickets €10 proceeds to Kildare Steiner Waldorf School . The concert is being dedicated to the late Matt Walford who died suddenly in Dunlavin recently.
A remembrance Mass for all those who died in 2012 will take place on Tuesday November 20th at 8pm in St Nicholas of Myra church. All are welcome to attend this very special occasion.
Santa can only visit winter wonderland in Donard for one weekend this year due to his busy schedule. He will be in Donard on December 15th and 16th between 2 and 6pm. Visit €10 per child, adults free. No booking required.
In conjunction with winter wonderland there will be a craft fair on 15th and 16th December 2-6pm.

The November meeting of the flower club will take place on Wednesday 14th at 8pm in the Jonathan Swift Hall.It will be a work night with Ann Heatley. New members welcome.
Meitheal Coffee Shop
The coffee shop will now open 6 days a week, Monday to Saturday, do drop in with a friend for a coffee and absorb the atmosphere, pick up some nice preserves or piece of craft work.
Teen Scene Cafe
Teen Scene Cafe in the Parish Centre. New members welcome. Every Tuesday night 7-9pm €2 per night. Secondary school students only.
Used Postage Stamps
Please keep you used postage stamps from your Christmas cards for St Patrick’s Missions Kiltegan who can use them to fundraise.
Used stamps can be dropped into the parish office anytime. Thanks to all who have donated stamps over the past years.
Bingo takes place in the Imaal Hall every Saturday night at 9pm. The funds raised by the Bingo goes towards the upkeep of the Imaal Hall and well worth supporting.
