The way the Grangenolvin GFC lotto is played has changed as and from the 9th April 2013. The new format is as follows: there is no longer a match three draw in its place we have increased the lucky dip prize fund from €20 for five winners to €25 for 6 winners. Sponsored Wax

The brave men of Grangenolvin GFC are holding a sponsored wax on the Saturday the 4th of May in Clancy’s Athy. This is going to be a fun filled night with some fantastic prizes on the night. Everyone welcome.

Mini Marathon

This is a call to all ladies to join us in shuffling, walking, jogging or for those who feel really fit running the mini marathon this year. The closing date for entries to 2013 Cecil Day Lewis Literary Awards Festival is Friday 19th April. Literary Competition, Short Story, Poetry and One Act Play. It is open to Primary and Secondary School Students and Individuals up to 18 years old in County Kildare.

Rathvilly Garden and Flower Club will meet on Wednesday April 24 at 8pm in St Patrick’s Sports and Community Centre Rathvilly. It will be the last of our big Flower Arranging nights this Season with Maeve Duke an A.O.I.F.A. member from Dublin. Maeve will be doing a full demonstration and her beautiful works of art will be raffled on the night, followed by the judging of the Alpine Plant Competition and then the usual cup of tea and chat all are very welcome. Tuesday at 3.00 o’clock Indoor Bowls in Moone Hall ‘till 5.00. Tuesday night at 9.00 Progressive 25 Cards in aid of Parish Funds, but it’s ecumenical and most of the concentration is is on King and Queens and high numbers.
