The winning numbers in last week’s lotto draw were 2, 8, 14 and 15. No winner. Tidy Towns

There will be a General Meeting in the Hollywood Centre on Tuesday 12th February at 8pm. All welcome.

We are carrying out a survey to assist the Committee with the preparation of a Multi-Annual plan for Hollywood. This plan will be submitted with the entry form to the National Tidy Towns competition in May. If you would like to make a suggestion regarding the application, please feel free to do so by completing a form which is available from Daly’s shop or at the back of the Church. Please place the completed form in the survey box at the back of the Church or return to any Committee member.

Art Classes

Art classes for children will commence in January in the Hollywood Centre, Tuesdays 3.30 – 5.00pm. To secure a place please contact Martina 086 0579754.

It is hoped to include as much Parish information as possible, including present and future plans, present activities, schedules for ministers, alter servers and much more. Ads can be submitted and will be published at the discretion of the Parish. Commercial ads can also be submitted, but a charge may be necessary if it is for personal profit.

Hollywood Fair

The Hollywood Fair AGM will take place in the Hollywood Centre on Monday 4th February at 8pm. The Committee are having a Rosary in the Ceile House on Friday 1st February (St. Brigid’s Day) at 8pm where the Church choir will be singing. Tea and cake will be served afterwards.

Our DVD is now on sale, great value at E5. You can order/buy your copy from Harry Farrington, Martin Byrne, Martina Traynor, Bridie Wilson and Daly’s shop.


Many thanks to the large crowd who attended and supported the annual quiz in Tuttys Bar on 27th December.

The club is organising the annual Race Night on 23rd February in Poulaphouca House. Horses are on sale from all adult team members in the next few weeks at a cost of 10 Euro.

The club are actively looking for new members and for our existing members to renew for 2013. The club had excellent membership for 2012 and we thank each of them for their support. Please contact any member of the Committee to pay membership.

St Kevin’s National School enrolment

Enrolment will take place Monday 4th, Wednesday 6th and Friday 8th February from 9.30am – 3.30pm for parents who wish to enrol their child/children for September 2013. Enrolment forms will be available in the school office from 28th January during office hours.

A copy of the child’s Birth Certificate must be furnished. Where a child has been baptized outside the Parish (Hollywood / Ballymore) a copy of their Baptismal Certificate must also be furnished.

Boxing Tournament

Boxing Tournament in the Hollywood Centre on Saturday 16th February at 8pm. Some famous names will attend. More details to follow. All support welcome.


A big congratulations to Bridie Kavanagh, Baltyboys who won one of our two jackpots and scooped E3,850 last Thursday night. We still have two jackpots, E3000 and E1000 to play for each week. Bingo takes place every Thursday night in the Hollywood Centre at 8.30pm.
