Tidy Towns

We are carrying out a survey to assist the Committee with the preparation of a Multi-Annual plan for Hollywood. This plan will be submitted with the entry form to the National Tidy Towns competition in May. If you would like to make a suggestion regarding the application, please feel free to do so by completing a form which is available from Daly’s shop or at the back of the Church. Hollywood Fair

The Hollywood Fair is holding their AGM in the Hollywood Centre on February 26th at 8pm. All welcome.

Boxing Tournament

Ballymore/Hollywood Boxing Club V Manchester/Leinster Selection on Saturday 16th February at 8pm sharp in the Hollywood Centre.

Featuring special guests, Jim Bolger – World Champion Horse Trainer, Kevin O’ Brien – Wicklow GAA All Star, Duxie Walsh – World Handball Champion, James Kavanagh – Kildare GAA and Emmet Bolton – Kildare GAA.

Blessing of the Stock

The Blessing of the Stock will take place during the first week of Lent on the 18th, 19th and 20th February.

Doctors’s Clinic

There will be no Doctor’s clinic in the Hollywood Centre on Thursday 21st February. Clinic will resume as usual Thursday 28th February.


A reunion of all past pupils of secondary education in Baltinglass will take place in Scoil Chonglais on Saturday 9th March at 7.30pm. Everyone from the Hollywood area who attended the Tech or Convent in Baltinglass anytime from the 1950s up to the 1970s is invited. Contact details are posted on the Notice Board outside the Church.
