There has been a call for Kildare County Council to look at providing traffic calming measures outside Robertstown National School.
Making his call at a meeting of Clane Electoral Area councillors last Tuesday, September 11, Cllr. Brendan Weld explained that the matter needed to be looked at urgently.
“A child was knocked down there – traffic is quite heavy when people are collecting their kids, “ he explained.
Council officials said they recommended a meeting on site with “the interested parties to review the best way forward on this issue”.
