The shopping centre in Kildare town called the Kildare Town Centre has been sold.
It had been up for sale with a guiding price of €1.55 million for over two years.
Conway Auctioneers and Lisney have confirmed on daft that it is sale agreed on multi let commercial investment in Kildare town.
The joint agents were instructed by Grant Thornton Receivers to sell Kildare Town Centre by Private Treaty with an asking price of €1,550,000
The property includes 14 retail units, two office units, and three Kiosks plus basement car parking and the entire portfolio extends to 2.358 sq.m (25,380 sq.ft.).
There are opportunities to increase rental income in the form of five vacant units. Tenants include Kildare County Council which represents 34% of the rental income.
The current rent is listed as €213,350 per year with stepped rental increases for an additional €10,000 per year within the next four years.
None of the tenants are effected by the sale.
The property is situated on the south side of Claregate Street, at its junction with Bangup Lane.
