KCC

A new recycling centre for north Kildare is going to public consultation this month.

Progress is being made in the provision of the amenity for North Kildare according to a local TD.

“Kildare Co Co have identified a site for a Civic Amenity Centre for North Kildare,” said deputy Frank O’Rourke TD.

“This site is at Junction 6 on the M4.  Planning permission will be sought this February, with the proposal going on public display so that the people can have an input to this much needed facility.”

“I have had meetings with the previous Minister Denis Naughton and I have discussed it recently with the current Minster Richard Bruton and Kildare County Council’s Director of Services, Joe Boland to make progress with this project. I’m working with the management from Kildare County Council to secure support and funding from the department for this project which is estimated to cost in the region of €3m”.
