If you have ever thought about working in the hair and beauty industry there isn’t a better time than now. With graduates from IBHT working in High Fashion, providing their expert Beauty & Hair services to film sets, glamour photography and theatres the Institute of Beauty & Holistic
Training (IBHT) is currently an industry leader in providing the highest training standards to their Hair & Beauty students.
Odel Grant-Kelly, Director at IBHT said “Our graduates are highly sought after because of the quality of training they receive”. All graduates are Professionally Qualified and their training is recognised as amongst the best within the industry. This training starts at the interview stage
where ‘Passion, not points’ is the main criteria. The college’s goal is to nurture and grow the student’s passion through commitment and excellence in the quality of the training provided. ‘All of our tutors are highly experienced and motivated with back-up and support provided at all stages throughout a student’s training’ said Odel
IBHT is a learner centred college that means it’s all about you! Whether you are looking to advance your career or looking to start a new one they can help you find the perfect fit. Their fulltime courses starting the end of September beginning of October run on weekday’s 10am – 4.30 – Monday to Thursday. All of their courses lead to fully accredited international qualifications. (ITEC & VTCT )
‘Our students go on to work in Salons, Spas, Cruise Ships and many have established their own successful businesses’ said Odel who also went on to say ‘The training team at IBHT all love to hear from our past graduates – it’s a thrill for us to find out about a student’s success and we are
delighted to have had a part in it’.
The Hair and Beauty industry is an extraordinarily exciting one with new styles, fashions, trends and treatments coming on stream all the time. Aileen Maher is IBHT’s training expert from Shades & Shapes Hair Salon. Her vast experience in the industry has been a wealth of knowledge for
graduates giving them a stepping stone on to a career path that can touch all corners of the world, surpassing barriers of age culture and language.
With excellent value on all courses students also gain real work experience, during their studies, in their highly innovative student run salon. Here students get to work on real, paying clients so, by the time they graduate and look for work; they have that experience and competitive edge, which is the key to success. The salon is also used as a finishing school to help further develop student’s skills and experience making them highly sought after by employers.
IBHT is currently enrolling for all of their courses starting this September. They hold regular open days, with the next one on Wednesday September 4th from 3.00pm to 8.00pm if you would like to drop along and chat to one of their tutors. They are located on the main street in Newbridge Town and if you would like further information you can visit their website at www.ibht.ie, e-mail them at firstname.lastname@example.org or you can phone now, 045- 438090 and arrange an interview.
