Gardaí based in County Kildare are currently probing the burglary of a business located on the Main Street of Celbridge.

Details of the crime were shared by Garda Jonathan Bryan of Kilcullen Garda Station when he appeared on KFM yesterday (May 28 last), although he did not disclose the name of the business.

He explained that the incident took place in the early hours of May 24 last.

Gda Bryan added that no cash was taken by the perpetrator(s).

However, a door and a number of lockers were damaged during the incident.

When asked by the Leinster Leader about this crime, a garda spokesperson responded: "Gardaí are investigating a burglary that occurred on May 24, 2025 at a retail property in Celbridge, Co. Kildare at approximately 1am.

"No items were taken."

"No arrests have been made at present."

They concluded: "Investigations are ongoing."
