The planned live episode of the Tommy, Hector and Laurita podcast has been cancelled as one of the members has been dealt a devastating blow in the weeks before Christmas.
Sadly, Laurita Blewitt took to social media on Thursday to announce that her father had passed away on November 21.

In a post on Instagram Laurita said,
"Hey guys...In replacement of what would have been our final live episode from The Kings Head, Galway, here is an episode we recorded a while back.
"My dad Brendan died on November 21st so we appreciate your understanding. May Dad rest in peace, join me in raising a glass to him over the Christmas.
"Happy Christmas and see you in the New Year"

Fans and followers were quick to comment under the post offering their heartfelt condolences and kind words.

"So sorry for your loss Laurita. Your dad sounded like a legend and I loved listening to you talk about him."
