The death has occurred of Peter Finnan, Ballinlig, Broadford, Co. Kildare and late of Ballinalack, Co. Westmeath and Maynooth, Co. Kildare, on October 19 2026, peacefully, at Newbrook Nursing Home, surrounded by his loving family.
Loving husband of the late Helen (Nellie) and predeceased by his son Paul and grandson Stephen. Deeply regretted by his sons Donal and Des, daughters Hilary, Anne, Helen and Lorraine, daughter-in-law, sons-in-law, sister-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and a large circle of close friends.
May Peter rest in peace.
Peter will be reposing at his daughter Helen’s residence, Eircode W91 Y7P9, Ballinlig, Broadford, Co Kildare, this Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 5 pm to 8 pm.
Requiem Mass on Friday in St Mary’s Church, Broadford at 1.30 pm and burial afterwards to the adjoining cemetery.

Very deeply regretted by his loving wife Mary, sons Liam and Ger, daughters Martina and Paula, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sons in law, daughters in law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his residence on Wednesday October 21 from 4.00pm to 8.00pm and also on Thursday 22 from 4.00pm until 8.00pm with prayers at 7.30pm.
Removal from there on Friday 23 to The Church Of The Sacred Heart, Nurney arriving for 11.00am funeral mass followed by burial in St Brigids cemetery Nurney.
Mary (Mae) Powell
The death has occurred of Mary (Mae) Powell, Leixlip, Kildare.
Powell, (Nee Murphy) (Leixlip, Co. Kildare, Courtnacuddy, Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford and formerly of Tallaght Village, Dublin 24) October 13 2026 (peacefully).
Mary (Mae), beloved wife of the late Terry, dear mother of Terry and Karen, much adored nanny of Sam, beloved mother-in-law of Lorraine and dear sister of Johnny, Frank and the late Kitty, Joe, Brigid, Tom, Lily, Olive, Paddy, Michael and Baby Anne; sadly missed by her loving family, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
May she rest in peace.
As per her wishes, a celebration of Mae’s life has taken place privately. House remains private.
Donations in memory of Mae, if desired, to the Capuchin Day Centre.

Recently predeceased by her husband Jack, also her parents Thomas and Sarah, and her sister Leila. Attracta will be deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving children Niall, Niamh, Ciaran and Sarah, son-in-law Kristof, daughters-in-law Trisha, Helen and Danielle, adoring grandchildren Caoimhe, Fiadh, Caelàn, Hayley, Holly, Louise and Jack, brother Enda, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her son Niall's residence Knavinstown, Kildare (R51 XN51) on Thursday (October 22) from 3pm - 8pm with Rosary at 7pm.
Removal on Friday morning to arrive at St. Conleth's Parish Church, Newbridge for requiem mass at 11am, followed by burial in St. Conleth's cemetery, Newbridge. Attracta's Funeral Mass will be live-streamed through the webstream link below.
