Friday night’s draw
A Kildare National Lottery player is celebrating after winning the top prize of €500,000 in Friday night’s EuroMillions Plus draw.
The winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased on the day of the draw at the Centra Service Station in Clane, Co. Kildare.
The winning numbers in the Friday, September 18th EuroMillions Plus draw were 19, 23, 27, 35 and 42, with the Kildare player matching all five numbers to land the €500,000 prize.
National Lottery spokesperson Darragh O’Dwyer congratulated the winners following a big weekend for players in both Kildare and Galway.
“It’s been a fantastic weekend for National Lottery players, with two major wins landing in Galway and Kildare,” he said.
The Galway winner matched five numbers and the Bonus in Saturday night’s Lotto draw to win €88,740, meaning more than €588,000 in major prizes were won across the two counties over the weekend.
The Kildare winner is being urged to check their ticket carefully, sign the back and keep it somewhere safe.
The winner can contact the National Lottery Prize Claims team on 1800 666 222 or by email at [email protected], with arrangements then made to collect the prize at National Lottery headquarters.
Meanwhile, Monday night’s Lotto jackpot is estimated at €3.8 million.
