The last remaining tickets for Garth Brooks’s sellout concerts in Croke Park have been sold in Naas.

Upwards of 60 people queued overnight in the rain in anticipation of getting a ticket to the fourth and last gig by the Country singing legend in GAA HQ on July 28.

They sat on hastily secured garden furniture beneath umbrellas as the rain lashed down in Stetson fulls outside the Jam Music outlet on South Main Street.

They needn’t have bothered insofar as there were more than enough tickets to go around.

“Everybody who queued got tickets and I had the last tickets available for sale up to 11.30am today (February 6),” manager Conor Cassidy told the Leader.

Nevertheless he still expects to be receiving queries from hopeful Brooks fans at least until, well, until the sun goes down.
