Kildare and District Football League Noticeboard

Despite numerous requests no trophies have yet been returned to the League. This is a matter of urgency as we are reaching the latter stages of the Transition Season. Trophies which are not returned by Thursday 13th November will be collected by courier at the club's expense.

Council meeting in the Standhouse Hotel Thursday 13th November at 8pm.

All clubs are requested to attend. Discussion will take place on the alterations to rules required to facilitate the change to Summer soccer in 2009

Hard luck to Management team Josie Dunne and Gary Connolly and the Leagues Under 18 representative side who lost by the odd goal in five to the Kilkenny League in their first group game at Derdimus Park on Saturday. They now go on to face Wicklow away and they have the AUL at home in the final group game.

The Kildare / Laois branch of the ISRS intends to host a referee's beginners course at Newbridge Town FC on Saturday 29th. November. Those interested should contact the League or call Mr JP Kelly at 059-8638203/086-8098001.

Tickets for the Kildare County 'Everyone A Winner' draw are still available along with promotional brochures. This is a great fundraising opportunity for clubs and other organisations.
