An opportunity for all Kildare supporters to meet and greet with senior footballers and hurlers is being arranged for Friday evening 11 May, in Hawkfield, Kildare GAA’s Centre of Excellence.
It has been a great season to date for both the footballers and hurlers with the former having clinched the Division 2 title only last Sunday against Tyrone, while the hurlers gained promotion to Division 2A having defeated Meath in the Division 2B final a few weeks ago.
The evening kicks off with a press conference which will be held between 7 and 8 pm followed with a coaching skills session with county hurlers and footballers (8 to 8.30). These skills are for children under 12, to be followed at 8.30 with an opportunity to meet players for photographs and autographs.
There will be entertainment on the evening including Face Painting.
Kildare Co. Board encourages as many supporters to come out on the night and to wear their county colours to what promises to be a great occasion.
