Lilies name team to tackle Donegal

Kildare have made four changes in personnel and numerous positional changes from the side that defeated Dublin in the O’Byrne Cup final last week, for Saturday evening’s opening game in Division 1 of the Allianz Football League against All Ireland champions, Donegal, in Croke Park, writes TOMMY CALLAGHAN.

In come Eoghan O’Flaherty, Seanie Johnston, Tomás O’Connor and Mikey Conway while moving to the bench are Robert Kelly, Niall Kelly, Paddy Brophy and Daniel Flynn.

Peter Kelly is named at full back with Mick Foley at no. 6. Up front Seanie Johnston is recalled in a full forward line that also includes Tomás O’Connor and Johnny Doyle, while Cathal McNally leads the attack for his first AFL outing.
