Celbridge and Ardclough to contest SHL decider

Champions, Celbrige, and local rivals Ardclough, will contest Friday evening’s Senior Hurling League final, writes TOMMY CALLAGHAN.

Celbridge successfully came through their semi final game against Confey at Leixlip on Tuesday evening on a score line of Celbridge 3-15 Confey 1-12.

In the second semi final, played at Clane, it took extra time to separate Ardclough and Naas before the former booked their place in the final on a score line of Ardclough 1-23 Naas 0-18.

The teams had finished all square at 0-16 apeice in normal time.

The final is fixed for this Friday evening at 7.30 but no venue has been announced as of yet.
