Eamonn Callaghan has given Kildare a massive shot in the arm after coming through a tough training session on Thursday evening, taking a full part, full contact and with no adverse effects, writes TOMMY CALLAGHAN.

Just three weeks since he flew to the USA for a groin operation, the Naas man, who admits to being a very poor spectator, is confident of being fit and available for selection whether to start or on the bench which, of course, will be up to Kieran McGeeney and his management team.
