BOTH Johnny Doyle and Morgan O'Flaherty are set to miss out on Kildare's NFL campaign following a meeting of the Leinster Council CCC in Portlaoise last night.
It is understood that Doyle received an four week ban and O'Flaherty an eight week ban following the now infamous O'Moore Park brawl last Sunday.

Allenwood man, Doyle will be back for Donegal's visit to Newbridge in round three, however O'Flaherty will not return until late March. However, it is thought O'Flaherty is likely to appeal the severity of his eight week suspension. All parties have three days to appeal the suspensions.

The Kildare County Board are also thought to have been fined E7,000 and have been warned about their future conduct by the provincial council.

It should be noted that up to 11.30am this morning (Thursday, January 28) the Kildare Board had not received official notification of the outcome of last night's CCC meeting.
