Johne Murphy to sign for Munster at end of season

ELLISTOWN native Johne Murphy will join 2008 Heineken Cup winners Munster at the end of the season after agreeing a two year deal on Monday.
The former Ellistown GAA star will leave Leicester after making 93 appearances and scoring 27 tries. Last season he finished up as the Tigers' top scoring with eleven tries. The 25-year-old former Newbridge College student has also been capped for the Ireland A team, making his first appearance in 2007 in the Churchill Cup.

Meanwhile, former Ardclough footballer Fionn Carr lined out for the Ireland A team in their defeat 17-13 defeat at the hands of England Saxons in Bath last weekend.
