James Kavanagh gets his first start of the year, having missed out through injury during the O'Byrne Cup, for Sunday's Allianz NFL opener with Down at Newbridge (2.30).
Also getting a recall having started the last two games on the bench is Ronan Sweeney.

Shane McCormack retains the goalkeeper's jersey despite his error against Louth.

Mick Foley gets the no 3 shirt while Gary White, who has been very impressive on the edge of the square in the O'Byrne Cup, moves to wing back.

Mark Scanlon returns to the panel after missing out a couple of games with a knee injury which required stitches but Kevin O'Neill is out of Sunday's panel as he continues to struggle with an injury which required a cortisone injection earlier this week.

The full line-up reads:

Shane McCormack; Andrew McLoughlin, Michael Foley, Emmet Bolton; Gary White, Brian Flanagan, Anthony Rainbow; Darly Flynn, Dermot Earley; David Whyte, Padraig O'Neill, Robert Kelly; Karl Ennis, Ronan Sweeney, James Kavanagh..
