Hospice Christmas Cards
The ladies of the Friends of St Brigids Hospice Rathangan Support Group will be selling their lovely Christmas cards on this Friday November 30 from 9.30 to 3.30 outside the Post Office, Centra and Toughers, weather permitting.
Buying these cards is a great way to support this very worthy cause, purchasing something we need, with the profits going to Hospice, so no great financial pain.
If the weather is inclement you can buy these cards from the home of Angela Donegan Ard Mhuire, (Bracknagh Rd side)
Following the recent CORE Group meeting, and discussions on the Gathering, there was keen interest in getting some projects up and running before Christmas.
With this in mind, a suggestion is to form an email list to register your interest.
The idea is to form a main group which can be sub-divided into seperate projects, eg, Quaker History, Geneology / Heritage, Grand Canal Story, Bord Na Mona History / Commemoration, Twinning project for Rathangan, etc
If interested in any one of the above or another projects, please email to firstname.lastname@example.org where the community office can co-ordinate the groups willing to take part in whatever one you wish, or you can contact Kathleen Dunne at Rathangan Library email email@example.com who will register your interest with the History Group.
CORE will liaise with whoever wishes to come on board and the ladies of the TUS Project, for the next 12 months, will compile data and do research etc for any local group.
