Sarsfields GAA make history electing first female chairperson

Shirley Mulpeter, elected chairperson of Sarsfields GAA at the club's AGM on Sunday

Sarsfields made a bit of history at the club's annual general meeting on Sunday afternoon when electing the club's first female chairperson.

Shirley Mulpeter takes up the post from Rod O'Sullivan, who did not contest the position.

Shirley is a member of the well know Brennan family that has big connections with the Sarsfields Club down the years; Niall Sheridan remains as Hon. Sec as does Allison Donnelly as PRO and Deirdre Mullally Registrar.
