Shots fired in Castledermot in the early hours

Gardaí at Castledermot are investigating an incident in which shots were discharged at a house on Lerr Road, Castledermot, this morning, Friday, 9 December at approximately 3.45am.

No injuries were reported. However damage was caused to a window of the premises.

The scene was preserved for technical examination.

Gardaí at Kildare Garda Station are appealing for information. No arrests have been made.
