Naas General Hospital
There has been an increase in patients awaiting treatment on trolleys at Naas General Hospital.
The Irish Nurses and Widwives Organisation say a total of 20 patients were awaiting treatment on trolley and in wards at the hospital’s Emergency Department today.
The largest number of patients awaiting treatment in this region is at Beaumont Hospital (38) on Dublin’s northside, followed by St. James’s (25) and Tallaght (24).
Yesterday there were 18 patients waiting to be treated in Naas and the figure for Friday last was 5.
