Clongowes tops table of Kildare schools

Clongowes Wood College

The annual Irish Times 'Feeder Schools' listings shows that private schools Clongowes and Newbridge College have the highest number of students progressing to third level.

They were followed closely by Naas CBS, St Wolstan's Celbridge and St Mary's Naas.

Below is the list of secondary schools in Kildare and the percentage of the students who went to third level education after their Leaving Certificate. It also shows how many students sat their Leaving Certificate this yea.

It includes people who have gone to that school and sat the Leaving Certificate in years prior, these students may have done some courses or gap years before going on to third level education (which explains the 112% figure for Clongowes).
