Two men remanded in custody charged with Maynooth pub burglary

TWO men were remanded in custody at Kilcock District Court this morning as a result of an ongoing Garda operation targeting burglary.

John McKeever, Flat 2, Thomas Moore road, Dublin 12, and Alan McKeever, 3 The Mews, Tyrconnell road, Dublin 12, appeared at a special sitting of Kilcock District Court on Friday, 15 February.

They have been charged with burglary following an incident at 4am at the Newtown Inn pub in Beaufield, Maynooth.

The men were initially detained at Leixlip Garda Station before being brought before the Court.

The men (aged in their 20s and 30s) were arrested by Gardai from Leixlip, Celbridge and Maynooth. An investigation is ongoing.
